Our New Prophet and his Counselors

I'm sure I'm like all the rest of you in being very excited about our new Prophet and his counselors. I have loved President Monson for years and years and he's always been someone that I have loved listening to at General Conference. What an honorable, caring, spiritual and loving man he is. I love how he always talks about things that his mother had taught him when he was growing up. He uses her in a lot in his stories he tells. In the month of December we had our stake conference and we were very privledged to have Brother Uchtdorf as our speaker. Roger and I were very excited to to hear him in person. We thoroughly enjoyed his message and feel that it was a blessing to us to now say that we've been in his presence.
I'm looking forward to General Conference now and being able to see them all sitting on the stand and listening to their talks. I"m also looking forward to sustaining them as our church leaders and supporting them in their callings.

I agree! But it is still strange to me... It will take a bit to get used to. But I do love these men!!! :)

I "borrowed" this pic from your for my blog. It is amazing how President Monson has been one of my favorite General Authorities for so very long. I believe these men to be commited to further the work of our Church and carry on with the work President Hinckley and his counselors achieved.

I was surprised when I learned that Elder Uchdorf was called into the First Presidency - I thought it would be Elder Packer. Elder Uchdorf visited us in Michigan for a stake conference, and he was wonderful. President Monson, President Eyring and President Uchdorf will be a great First Presidency! I can't wait to officially sustain them either!
