Heber Valley Railroad Easter Train ride.

For another Easter party grandpa and I took the grandkids and Jake and Shana on the Heber Valley Railroad train ride. They had the easter bunny and gave out an easter egg with candy. It was fun but not as fun as having an easter egg hunt so next year we'll do that instead. I just thought this would be something different to do. There was a petting zoo so the kids got to pet some pigs, cows, goats.
Jake, Shana, Brayden, Daxton, Presley and Hadley after the trainride.
I love how Hadley is holding onto her papas arm. Looks like they're all ready for the train to start moving.
My cute grandkids. They're growing up so fast. I hope they'll always remember the fun times we've had.
Morris, Elaine and two of their grandkids came with us. The Easter bunny was doing a dance for us
Daxton petting the cow. I think he thought he was too old for a petting zoo..lol
Presley and Hadley loved the goats.
Hadley petting the baby calf. She adored the animals.
Rog and I after the ride. We sure love being with family and having a good time. I love creating memories for the kids.

Easter Cookie Decorating

This year we had to do things a little different for our Easter celebration because Jared and Kristi were heading out to Texas to see Troy's family. So I had Makinley, Gentry and Easton come over to decorate some Bunny cookies I had gotten at Costco. They loved doing the frosting and putting on their decorations and they turned out so cute. I missed having all of the grandkids over to decorate eggs and have an egg hunt but next year we'll be able to.

My Best Friend

What would I ever do without Lora? I love her so much and I"m so grateful for her and for all the fun times we've shared over the past 25 years. We've been there for one another through many trials and we  know there have been many throughout the years.
She's a wonderful mom who has 4 sons. One who is autistic and has worked tirelessly for him. I've admired her strength and courage and her determination to find the best care for Casey.
Throughout the years when we used to go to Mesquite or Wendover or wherever, we used to tell people our names were Betty and Wilma. And to this day we still do it. We laugh about it when we reminisce about all our adventures. Lora will be speaking at my funeral when I pass away because no one knows me like she does. I"m so blessed to have her in my life.

This kid makes us laugh and laugh. He's quite the character. Easton turned 4 on the 30th of March and celebrated his birthday in Texas. They went to visit his cousins Addie and Colby for the week. So before they left we took our presents up to him. Easton loves to tell stories. His imagination is huge! Easton loves to dress up in our superman cape and mask when he comes over so I bought him one and a batman one for his birthday. He loves coming to our home and hanging out with us. He loves Izzy and Mac too. He's quite the tough little kid but I guess he has to be with 2 sisters older than he is. He sure holds his own and is all boy!. Love this young man so much!

Happy 9th Birthday Makinley

I'm not sure how I got blessed with the most beautiful grandkids but it's true. Makinley is now 9yrs old and is such a doll. I absolutely love when she sees me and she comes running up and gives me the biggest hug. I adore that! She loves to talk and talk and is a little mother to her siblings. She's very sensitive to peoples needs such as her grandpa. Makinley is my shopping partner. She's so much fun to take clothes shopping so every birthday I go pick her up and we head out to buy her clothes. She picks the cutest things too. I love her dearly and can't wait to see what a beautiful young lady she turns into.

Daxton turned 9!!

This little stinker is now 9 years old. January 22nd was his special day. This young man will always be my snuggle bunny boy. Ever since he was a baby he loved to snuggle and he still loves to get in our bed and talk and talk and snuggle. He's growing up into a fine young man. He loves to share his testimony and even took his scriptures one day to talk with a young boy in his class who isn't LDS. He loves to make friends, is awesome at basketball, baseball, and football. I pray that our Heavenly Father will always watch over him and help him to choose good friends and that he will have a desire to serve a mission.

Happy 5th Birthday Colby Lincoln

Gosh it's so hard to believe this young man is now 5 yrs. old. I sure wish we could have been with him on his birthday but we had to send his presents in the mail since they live so far away.
Colby has always been my tackling grandson. He loves to tackle grandma. We get on the floor and rough house forever. He loves flashlights and loves to get on my bed when it's dark and shine the flashlight up on the ceiling. He's super good at sports. Batting a ball, dribbling a basketball and soccer. He has the biggest dimples just like his daddy does. I love this young man so much and miss him horribly. He'll be going to kindergarten this fall and pray he'll love it and make good friends.
