Grandma's Christmas Party

I love putting up my Christmas Village. I always imagine I"m a little person living in the village and I place all the figurines in the area that I think I would see them in real life. The grandkids are at a fun age where they just stand over it and look carefully at it. They'll pick up the people and put them where they want. I've collected everything over quite a few years. Several of the houses have meaning to me. Jared bought the ski chalet for me when he was on his mission, Peggy, a dear friend who used to work for me and has since passed away, bought me several pieces.
We needed a picture with the grandkids. We missed having Colby and Addie and Vivi on this night that's for sure. We decorated cookies, decorated the grandkid tree and had pizza. I live for these moments.
Can they get any cuter? I don't think so. Oh I love them so much.
Here's the finished product. I give them all their own ornaments that I've given them over the years and they each take a turn putting them on the tree. Most of them end up at the bottom. It's pretty dang cute. As much as I'd like to rearrange them when they leave, I don't. I leave them right where they were put.
My entryway decoration.

Happy 4th Birthday Hadley...Dec. 22, 2014

This little stinker turned 4 years old on Dec. 22, 2014. She's such a little character. We love her so much..for 4 years she was our youngest grandchild but now we have little Viv. But Hadley loves, dancing, gymnastics, dress ups, her dollies and anything girly. She's quite the talker and has been at an early age. She loves her sissy Presley and they're best friends. Shana and Jake had a "Frozen" party for her and had a bunch of little girlfriends come over. We're so proud of her and Papa and Grandma love her dearly.

Fry Family Christmas Party Dec. 2014

We had a small group this year but those that came had a nice time. We got to visit with our cousins and eat dinner at Golden Coral.
I love each and every one of them so much. I'm so glad we're all close to each other. We only see each other maybe once or twice a year but when we do we always laugh and have a great time.
This past year we lost Cyndee and Steve Holt. Kayleen made copies of the loved ones who have passed on and hung them behind us. We miss them all so much but we know they're our guardian angels.
Geri, Melanie, Aunt LaRae and Kay
Jackie, Donna, Jeff and Fred, Wayne and Tracy
Me, Kathy and Larry, Sheila , Jill and Nick
Merry Christmas Fry Family! Praying we're all still around for next years celebration.

Sleepover Time

Selfie with these cute girls.
We had a sleepover with Presley and Hadley. I love that the grandkids love sleeping over.
They have the cutest smiles.
Hadley goofing off.
Presley also goofing off for the camera.
I love these girls so much. I wish we lived closer to be able to hang out more. They're so much fun.

Grandparent Day At Foothill Elementary November 2014

Easton is introducing us in front of his class and teacher.
We had the opportunity to go to Grandparents Day with Easton. He's in Kindergarten now at Foothill. It was so fun to see his face when we walked in. He thought it was pretty cool that his papa and grama would come. We made indian corn out of beads and pipe cleaners. They were celebrating Thanksgiving and teaching them about the pilgrims and indians.
We love doing things like this with our grandkids. We had so much fun to see how Easton interacts with his class and to see his classroom.

Daxton's Into Wrestling

Daxton is wrestling for Medal Wrestling. He's doing really good for just starting. This tournament was in Mapleton, Ut. Daxton is in the red. He pinned 1 guy and lost the other 2 but he gave them a run for their money.

He wrestled a boy that won the state championship last year.
It's so fun to go watch the grandkids developing their love for different sports.
A funny story that happened at this tournament was when we were all standing up against the wall after Daxton had wrestled and got pinned, we told him what a good job he did and how hard he had worked. He went up to Shana and said "you just want to make money off of me" We all looked at each other and burt out laughing. Not sure where that comment came from but he was mad because he didn't win. He took it that Shana was mad at him for losing so that's where that comment came from. To this day we still laugh at that comment.

The "A" Team At Work

I've been blessed for the last 26 years to work with some of the best nurses and doctors in the ER. I would trust them with my life and any of my family. They're top notch in my eyes. This team right here is Tom Sant, Dr. Craig Patten and Linda Simons. I always look forward to my Wednesday and Thursday shift because it's Tom and Linda who I get to work with. We have shared some of our most personal stories with each other. We're like siblings that get along so well. Tom is one who goes out of his way to help others such as going out and starting their cars for them when it's cold outside, or holding an umbrella for a patient and walking them to their car, helping you with car troubles, he's the "fix it" man in the ER. Tom's like a brother to me and I love his big hugs when I see him. Linda is the compassionate one. Always helping others, such a giving person. She's so talented when it comes to sewing and crafts. She's always been such a good example to me and I love her dearly. Dr. Craig Patten is a hoot to work with. He's quite the jokester and talker. One time he got a couple of tootsie rolls and rolled them up to look like a turd. He put it in a stool sample cup and would sit it on peoples desks. I really am so blessed and lucky to work with these fine people. I love them all and grateful they're a part of my life.  This picture was taken in November  2014.
There's the tootsie roll poop!!
