Grandkid room

This is Gentry in our "grandkid room". As you can see there isn't much room to walk around. The kids love getting all the toys out and spreading them all over. And then they hate picking them up. haha..It looks like she's having some kind of a tea party with herself.

Makinley loves getting old aprons on and she even has a John Stockton thingy hanging around her neck. We got it when he retired from the Jazz. They get out all the little kitchen things and come out to us while we're visiting and ask us if we want to eat any of it.

Daxton is helping Makinley with something. There have been times when we're out visiting and they're in the grandkid room. We think they're playing but they've been writing with markers all over the walls. OH OH!!! This room has been fun for them though and I'm glad we made it for their enjoyment. The walls are fire engine red and yellow. It has the alphabet stenciled on the wall and a growth chart so we can measure them as they get older.

The kids LOVE, LOVE, LOVE this room!!! I am glad you made it for them too! They have such a good time playing in it. Jake was just looking at this and said, "I want to go down today!!! I miss Makinley & Gentry!! Lets go!!!"
How cute!!! :)

That's cute. It reminds me of our old house on Laird. How we turned me and Kortney's old room into the playroom. I miss that house. It's up for sale again too.

How fun for them! How nice to have the toys in a room you can close the door :)

They will remember that room for the rest of their lives! We have a grandkids room too, but no grandkids have visited it for several months. You are sooooooooo lucky!

I don't have one of these rooms. I only have two grandkids that come over, ever. I just spend the time I have with them doing flash cards, coloring in coloring books and playing with playdoh. We bake and tickle and roll around on the floor! I love that contact with them....Love, Love, My grandkids!
