I adore being a grandma as most of you know. There is nothing better than the sweet smell of a new baby. And when they start smiling and cooing at you. When they snuggle in your arms and look up at you with faith that you will love them, take care of them and teach them.
I"m so thankful that all of my grandchildren live so close by me. I'm having a hard time accepting the fact that our newest grandchild, Colby Lincoln will be leaving us for 4 months as his daddy will be working in California for the summer. I will miss his giggles, his smiling face, his chubby cheeks and even his spit up on my shoulder. He's an adorable sweetheart and his Papa and Mimah will miss him terribly but we know his mamma and daddy will post pictures on their blog as he gets bigger and starts doing new things. Troy and Kori and Colby are leaving on Wed. and we will miss all of them a lot. I want each of my grandchildren to know how much I love them. I live for them and look forward to seeing them as much as I can. I keep telling each one that they can't grow any more. That they have to stay small and they just laugh at me. They are at such a fun stage in life. They ask so many questions and want to know why to everything. I hope I can be an influence in their lives and someone that they can look up to and love being with.

That would be so hard... Those are beautiful pictures!! Are they professionally done? How special. He is so cute.
What a chunker!!!! Good Luck to them as they travel and live in Cali....I know how hard it is to be away from grandkids, so I understand your feelings about it. They'll be back before you know it! Make a lot of money Troy, so you can feed that chunker!
Cute pictures. He is so adoreable. I'm sure you will miss him so much. Atleast their coming back right? I love the 3 generation picture below, that is so cool.
You have my sympathy. Shouldn't there be a law that grandchildren can never be taken away from their grandparents?
