For some reason when I wanted to blog about the "Winter Wonderland" pictures it wouldn't let me type anything. I swear this blogging thing has a mind of it's own.
Anyway..I wanted to just say a few things about the fun day Rog and I had with the grandkids. We had Brayden, Daxton and Makinley spend two nights with us. While we had them we played games, watched videos, ate pizza, and went sledding behind the 4 wheeler. We really had a fun time with them. I made them french toast both mornings and they seemed to love that. Brayden slept with Papa upstairs and I had Daxton and Makinley in my bed. Even though they woke up pretty early (6am) everything worked out great. By the end of the last day though they were getting onery with each other and were ready to go home. That's the nice thing about being a grandparent : )
We went up on the Alpine Loop in American Fork canyon and it was a bitter cold day. I'll bet it was maybe 15 degrees when we went sledding. The kids never complained once even though the nostril hairs were freezing up. The scenery was so beautiful and the kids had a ball. What more could you ask for? We missed Gentry. Her parents felt she needed to be a little older to stay with us and go sledding so she'll go next year.
I'm glad Rog was able to take a day off and spend time with us also. He loves being a Papa and the kids adore him. I certainly am looking forward to our next sleep over!!

YOU GUYS ARE THE BEST EVER! WHENEVER YOU WANT THEM AGAIN, JUST LET US KNOW!! :) THEY LOVE GOING TO MIMAH AND PAPAS HOME!!! Brayden was so excited to finally be able to sleepover because he can't that often because of school! He is always so jealous of all of Daxtons sleepovers. He was sooo happy to finally spend a few nights with you guys!!! LOVE YOU! Thanks again!!!!
Those are great pictures! I wish I could have come!
It looks like the kids had a lot of fun. I know I would be complaining in that cold.

You are the best grandparents in the world! The pictures were wonderful! How many kids get to have a perfect day in a winter wonderland??? Way to go!
I know just how you feel. I love having my grandkids over...at least two of the six. I have bonded so much better with the grandkids I have here, but still, when I call to Chicago, they know who I am and talk with me on the phone. I love them all, but when they're ready to go home, I'm ready to crash! Love it though and I won't complain a bit!
